The HCUCA has assisted on several restoration projects throughout the County.  Projects have ranged from the installation of a schoolyard habitat at the Shamrock Springs Elementary School in Westfield to the conversion of common area spaces for homeowner's associations.

The HCUCA provided extensive assistance with the creation of a 6.3 acre nature park for the Ridgefield Subdivision in Fishers.  The project included planting 4.5 acres of native prairie, planting native trees and grasses in a riparian buffer along Sand Creek, and planting native trees and shrubs for wildlife habitat cover areas.  The HCUCA assisted in planning, design, preparation, and implementation of the project.  In addition, the HCUCA helped locate cost share funding which paid for a large portion of the project.  Finally, the HCUCA assisted in the planting of the prairie.
